Relocating can be both exciting and stressful.  A Realtor’s job is to eliminate the stress as much as possible when purchasing a home and relocating to an area.  There are certain real estate agents that are trained in relocation to understand the process.  Each agent is different in this regard.  Please ask the agent you are working with how they assist in relocation.  Make sure you have also contacted a lender to see what price range you are comfortable with when relocating.  A professional real estate agent will have a list of lenders in the area to contact if you do not have one that you can work with in that area.

When relocating to the area to purchase, we provide an approximate two hour tour of the community to show what Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy have to offer as the hub of the county.   Neighborhoods can be shown to allow access to what areas and price ranges can be most attractive.  We typically show homes on a second day to allow you to get familiar with the area before choosing neighborhoods.  This gives you a feel of where you want to live rather than choosing homes on the internet in less favorable neighborhoods that you would rather avoid.  We can also put together a packet of information we personalize from the Chamber of Commerce.  Our website has information for every area for you to visit in the comfort of your own home to include city websites, stats, school information and more. 

The additional assistance that is awesome is getting utility information, recommendations for service providers when needed, and always having contact when a trusted professional is needed.  Keep in mind that you can always request who you want to work with when relocating with a company, as most companies want their employees to feel secure and have a good experience.  This can eliminate stress to concentrate on the job that is being relocated for.
